The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is the worlds’ largest study of entrepreneurship and Wales has taken part in GEM since 2000. The index of entrepreneurial activity provides one of the key benchmarks of enterprise and is one of the main indicators of economic development for the Welsh Assembly Government.
As part of a major expansion of our analysis of entrepreneurship in Wales, the National Entrepreneurship Observatory has produced a series of regional assessments of entrepreneurial activity, the first of which is our assessment of activity in South-East Wales, which we hope you find both interesting and informative.
